Abstract:

To provide a program guide device and method for allowing a user to easily search for a desired program on an EPG display screen.

The program cells of a program are arrayed and displayed on a program chart display screen in a prescribed time range based on a priority order calculated for each program. Therefore, a user can easily search for his or her desired program on the program chart display screen.
