PURPOSE: To synchronize the operation of an angular position indicator with the angular displacement of a rotor by matching the pulse pattern with the program pattern in the angular position indicator of a rotary shaft, and supplying a plurality of synchronized signals appropriate to the use of the angular position indicator.

CONSTITUTION: A start-up enable means 101 is coupled with a plurality of pulse signals, and determines the start of one of these pulse patterns. A pattern window counting means 102 is coupled with the means 101 to determine the completion of the pulse pattern. In addition, a pattern acquiring means 103 is coupled with the means 102, acquires the pulse pattern, and feeds the pattern output signal to the acquired pulse pattern. A pattern matching and synchronizing means 104 is respectively coupled with the means 102, 103, matches the acquired pulse pattern to the preliminarily programmed pattern, and supplies a plurality of synchronized signals appropriate to the use of an angular position indicating means 105.
