Abstract:
To provide a pressure loss evaluating method and device capable of easily evaluating pressure loss of fluid in a duct and contributing to a decrease in the pressure loss of the fluid in the duct.
A calculation condition of dissipative energy is inputted (S100), the duct is divided into meshes (S105) to calculate fluid behavior (S110). Then, whether the mesh is a first layer is determined (S115). If the mesh is the first layer, a speed gradient is calculated at an approximate flow rate by a wall function (S120), a coefficient νtof eddy viscosity is approximated by the formula of Cebecci & Smith (S125), and the dissipative energy is calculated by a second total pressure loss expression (S130). When the mesh is a layer other than the first layer, the dissipative energy is calculated by a first total pressure expression (S160). When the dissipative energy is calculated by the entire mesh, a calculation result is displayed on a display device (S140). The above processing is repeated while changing a duct shape and the calculation condition of the dissipative energy.
