Title:
PROGRESSIVE FREEZING CONCENTRATION METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH11216301
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To prevent supercooling by a method wherein a container is gradually dipped into a refrigerant while a solution in a container wherein many small holes are provided to the inside of a bottom surface is stirred, one piece of an ice crystal is generated in a lower part of the container, and a concentrated solution is obtained on that.

Many columnar small holes 8 are provided inside a bottom surface 7 of a container 6, and a solution being a solution to be concentrated is filled in the container 6. Then, a stirrer 9 fitted to a machine frame is arranged just above the container 6, the container 6 is gradually dipped into a refrigerant C of a thermostatic chamber 11 while a vicinity of an interface of the solution 6 is stirred with the stirrer 9, and an ice crystal becoming firstly a nucleus in the deepest part in each small hole 8 is generated. Further, the container 6 is continuously dipped gradually into the refrigerant C, a new ice crystal successively becomes only one piece of the ice crystal on the ice crystal spreaded as a thin film on the whole surface inside the bottom surface 7 of the container 6, and a concentrated solution can be obtained on that.
