Title:
PROGRESSIVE MULTIFOCUS LENS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5824113
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain smooth distortion of an image, by dividing a refraction surface of a lens into 3 area by both a curve crossing a main meridian curve in a far use center, and a curve crossing the main maridian curve in a near use center

CONSTITUTION: Both C1 and C2 are curves for dividing a lens refraction surface into three by crossing a main meridian curve M at a far use center A and a near use center B, respectively, and the refraction surface of the lens is divided into such 3 areas as a far use part area 51, a near use part area 52 and an intermediate part area 53, by both C1 and C2. As a result, in both or one of the far use part area and the near use part, normal distortion is obtained, shaking of an image in dynamic vision can be eliminated, and in the intermediate part area, skew distortion can be suppressed to the utmost and smooth distortion can be obtained by regulating distortion of the image.
