Abstract:

Provided are: a projection control device with which the visibility of a projection image and the accuracy of gesture recognition can both be improved; a projection device comprising the projection control device; a projection control method; and a projection control program. A projector (100) comprises: a moving body detection unit (11B) that detects, on the basis of captured image data which is obtained through capture by an image capture unit (30), a moving body within a projectable range (20A); a recognition unit (11C) that recognizes a specific object shape from the captured image data; a determination unit (11D) that determines whether a portion of the moving body in the captured image data satisfies the necessary conditions for recognizing an object shape; and a control unit (11E) that, when it has been determined that the conditions are satisfied in a state in which a main body image is being projected in a first region (20B), performs control based on the object shape recognized by the recognition unit (11C), and when it has been determined that the conditions are not satisfied, causes a blank image different from the main body image to be projected in a second region (20C).
