Abstract:
To improve the operability of a projection display apparatus that is operable through manipulation of both a remote control device using wired communication and a remote control device using wireless communication.
A projection display apparatus includes a reception control unit 8 which is configured such that when a wired remote control 12 has been connected to a connecting part 7 and when in an infrared remote control priority mode (S303), a signal received by an infrared reception sensor 6 from an infrared remote control 11 is accepted (S307) in order to perform operation in accordance with the signal, or the signal is dropped when not in the infrared remote control priority mode.
