PURPOSE: To vertically move and rotate the screen of a projection television so that it comes to an optimum position for a viewer.

CONSTITUTION: A tilting guide 5 is provided for a tilting base 2, and tilting rollers 8 supported by holders 7 fixed to a projection television main body 1 are engaged to tilting guide grooves 6 so that they can freely be moved. A circular rack 9 is fixed to the projection television main body 1, a tilting driving motor 11 is fitted to the tilting base 2 and they are driven and connected. Then, the projection television main body 1 can be tilted by an operation by a remote controller and the like. Furthermore, a turning mechanism consisting of a turning roller 13, a turning driving motor 16, a turning rack gear 17 and a turning gear train 18 is provided. A tilting mechanism and the turning mechanism can be operated by a manual operation.
