Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the portable type projection type liquid crystal display device which is miniaturized and easily carried.
CONSTITUTION: A light source 1 and a paraboloid mirror 2 are arranged while being faced to a dychroic prism 6, a mirror 9 is arranged near an exiting side diaphragm 8 at a Schlieren optical system, and light is enlarged and projected by a projection lens 10 after its optical axis is almost rectangularly bent. Since the mirror is arranged at a place where a projected image is small, the mirror can be miniaturized and since the miniaturized projective liquid crystal display device can be provided, the portable projection type liquid crystal display device with an integrated screen can be provided.
