Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thinned projection type picture display device of which cooling efficiency is improved by providing 1st to 3rd aperture parts and disposing a cooling fan adjacently to the 1st aperture part.
SOLUTION: The cooling fan 17 is disposed adjacently (corresponding) to 1st and 4th ventilation ports 16a and 16b on the side surface of a housing case 20, and supplies cooling air from the ports 16a and 16b into a 2nd space 44 and a 1st space 43. Then, the cooling air from the fan 17 is supplied to a reflection type liquid crystal display device for red light 22a through a channel formed by the port 16a, the space 44, a 2nd ventilation port 18a, the space 43 and a 3rd ventilation port 24d and a channel formed by the port 16b, the space 43 and the port 24d. The cooling air blows through upward while cooling the device 22a.
