Abstract:

PURPOSE: To offer the projector optical system adjustment mechanism facilitates the adjustment of the distance back focus length(BFL) between an image display means such as a CRT and a lens system without requiring any spacer and enables fine adjustments.

CONSTITUTION: A moving plate 4 is coupled with a CRT coupler 2, which supports the CRT 1, through four BFL adjusting screws 3 movably in the direction of an optical axis and the moving plate 4 is fitted with the lens system 11 through an intermediate frame 4 and a lens coupler 9. Then the four screws 3 are rotated synchronously through a sprocket 15 and a chain 16 to move the moving plate 4 in parallel to the CRT coupler 2.
