To obtain a projector capable of reflecting a projected image without using a separately installed reflection type screen regardless of a place where it is used by providing the reflection type screen which can be attached to/ detached from a projector main body.

This projector is provided with the projector main body 11 and the reflection type screen 14 which can be attached to/detached from the main body 11. It is used by detaching a reflection type screen base 23 attached to the main body 11 and putting it in front of a lens 12. Image luminous flux 16 outputted from the lens 12 is projected to the screen 14 rotatably coupled by a hinge 17 for the reflection type screen. When the projector is not used, the hinge 17 is turned so that the screen 14 is folded until it comes in contact with the base 23, and further the base 23 is attached to the main body 11. This screen 14 is not only used for this projector but also used as the reflection type screen for another equipment.
