Title:
PROMOTER FOR SYNTHESIZING COLLAGEN AND COLLAGEN METABOLISM ACTIVATOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3159419
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a collagen-synthesizing promoter and a collagen metabolism activator capable of increasing collagen protein-synthesizing ability of a promoting substance for synthesizing collagen, e.g. an ascorbic acid derivative by acting on a fibroblast and capable of promoting both of synthesis and decomposition of the collagen and useful for medicines, cosmetics, etc.
CONSTITUTION: This promotor for synthesizing a collagen contains three kinds of amino acids of glycine, proline and alanine or contains three kinds of amino acids of glycine, proline and alanine and a promoting substance for synthesizing collagen, which is preferably ascorbic acid or its derivative. In the promoter for synthesizing the collagen, the molar ratio of glycine, proline and alanine is 3:2:1. This collagen metabolism activator contains the promotor for synthesizing the collagen and a promoter for producing collagenase.
