Abstract:
To provide a proof forming method and an image forming device that form a proof through which print deviation of printed matter to be proofed is confirmed.
In this proof forming method, an image of past printed matter of a printer which prints printed matter to be proofed is read and data on print deviation is obtained from the read image; and an image recording device which forms the proof through exposure carries out the exposure by shifting a start position of exposure in a vertical scanning direction and a horizontal scanning direction to form the proof. Consequently, the proof through which the print deviation of the printed matter to be proofed is reproduced and confirmed, is formed.
