Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable the bidirectional test of a one-frequency alternate communication system by providing a propagation path simulation circuit for transmitting signals only in one direction and a means for switching the connection of input and output terminals at the propagation path simulation circuit corresponding to the transmitting direction.
CONSTITUTION: While a down signal is transmitted from a base station to a mobile station, a control signal is inputted so that a PIN switch 104 can be connected to an input side synthesizer 107 of a propagation path simulator 113 and a PIN switch 106 can be connected to an output side synthesizer 112. Next, while an up signal is transmitted from the mobile station to the base station, the control signal is inputted so that the switch 104 can be connected to an output side distributor 110 of the device 113 and the switch 106 can be connected to an input side distributor 109. Thus, since the connection is switched by using the PIN switches, distributors and synthesizers, the bidirectional test of the one-frequency alternate communication system can be performed by using a non-opposite propagation path simulator.
