To provide a propeller made of combined materials provided with a small diameter spinner with a modified aerodynamic profile so that it can be adapted to an engine nacelle and with a drag reduction profile of variable and non-variable pitch propellers.
The propeller includes a propeller hub 102, a spinner 104 for streamlining the propeller 100, and a plurality of combined propeller blades 106 mounted to the propeller hub 102. The propeller blades 106 are arranged to rotate together in the same rotational direction in at least two parallel planes 108, 110 which are substantially perpendicular to an axis of rotation 112 of the propeller 100. The propeller 100 has a small-diameter spinner 104 with an improved aerodynamic profile that can be favorably adapted to an engine nacelle 116 and has reduced drag.
