Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a propeller for propulsion of a craft capable of suppressing cavitation of tip vortex.SOLUTION: The propeller for propulsion of a craft comprises a propeller blade 3a having a groove 11 on its back surface. The groove is formed between a first end 12 disposed on a near side of a blade root of the propeller blade and a second end 13 disposed near a blade end of the propeller blade. When the radial direction positions of the blade end 15, the first end, the second end from the rotation axis 5 of the propeller are represented as R, r1, r2, r1<0.95R≤r2.
