Abstract:
PURPOSE:To achieve a higher accuracy by a method wherein other end of each one of connecting rods with one end thereof fixed on each specified surface of front and rear guide blocks is supported rotatably on a joint block and a strain gauge is applied on a plate spring fixed at the other end of the connecting rod and the joint block. CONSTITUTION:One end of a connecting rod 4 is fixed on a surface 5 parallel to a direction Z of propelling a front guide block 1 and one end of a connecting rod 11 is fixed on a surface 12 parallel to a direction Z of a rear guide block 3 while perpendicular to the surface 5 and other ends of the rods are supported rotatably on a joint block 2 with rotating shafts 7 and 14. Fixing members 8 and 15 are fixed on surfaces 6 and 13 of the block 2 and plate springs 9 and 16 are mounted on the members 8 and 15 and at ends of the rods 4 and 11 vertical to the surfaces 6 and 1. Then, strain gauges 10 and 17 are applied on the springs 9 and 16 to introduce a strain signal thereof to a signal processing section.
