Abstract:
To provide a propulsive force transmission device for an earthquake-resistant pipe propulsion laying method in which the working hours required for pipe connection can be shortened.SOLUTION: A propulsive force transmission device comprises a plurality of propulsive force transmission means 13 disposed at intervals along an outer circumferential surface of a spigot 3, and ring-shaped tightening means 12 fixed to the outer circumferential surface of the spigot 3. The propulsive force transmission means 13 comprises: a propulsive force transmission member 17 coming in abutment with a side face 1a of a socket 1, and transmitting the pushing force of a trailing pipe 5 to a preceding pipe 2; a bracket 18 fixed to the tightening means 12; a wheel 20 as a supporting member for supporting the trailing pipe 5 in the inside of a sheath pipe; and a fixed shaft 21 for mounting the wheel 20 between the propulsive force transmission member 17 and the bracket 18, in which one end is mounted to the bracket 18 and the other end is inserted into a long hole 17a formed to the propulsive force transmission member 17, and fastened by a nut 22. A gap is formed between the side face 1a of the tightening means 12 and the socket 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
