Abstract:
PURPOSE:To suppress reaction torque from a propeller by forcing a pair of propellers having mutually reversed pitches and coaxially arranged in double layers in the axial direction to turn reversely to each other by means of a counter rotating shaft to produce thrust. CONSTITUTION:A pair of driving means 14, 15 are supplied with electric power and driven in rotation in mutually opposite directions. Thereby, the inner/outer side rotary shaft 12, 13 of a counter rotating shaft 11 are rotated in mutually reverse directions so that a pair of propellers 25, 26 are driven in mutually reverse turns. The pair of propellers 25, 26 are constructed with mutually opposite pitches so that each thrust is generated in the same direction through mutually reversed driving. Further, reaction torque can be suppressed by rotations in both directions so that rotational force around the shell may be reduced.
