Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the subject composition markedly improved in the stability of prostaglandin compounds, high in safety, thus useful as a medicine, etc., comprising a prostaglandin compound and a carboxylic acid diglyceryl ester.
CONSTITUTION: This composition comprises (A) a prostaglandin compound and (B) a carboxylic acid diglyceryl ester. It is preferable that, in the component B, (i) the carboxylic acid be a 4-22C aliphatic carboxylic acid (esp. a mixed fatty acrid composed of caprylic acid and capric acid at the molar ratio of the former to latter of (7:3) and the component B be a tetraester between the component (i) and (ii) diglycerol. The concentration of the component A in the component B is pref. e.g. 100mg/ml.
