Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the subject compound inhibiting cell migration stimulated by chemokine and useful as a therapeutic medicine for arterial sclerosis by reacting an organic lithium compound with an organic copper compound, a cyclopentenone compound, etc.
CONSTITUTION: This compound is expressed by formula I [X is S, methine; R1 is 1-5C alkyl; R2 is H, 1-10C alkyl, alkenyl, etc.; R3, R4 are H, tri(1-7C hydrocarbon)silyl, etc.; R5 is H, methyl, vinyl; R6 is 3-8C alkyl, alkenyl, alkinyl, etc.; n is 0,1] [e.g. (11R,13E,15S)-9-methoxy-11-15-dihydroxyprosta-8,13-dienoic- acid]. The compound is obtained by reacting an organic lithium compound of formula II [R41 is the same as R3 excluding H; M is Li, etc.] or an organic tin compound with an organic copper compound prepared from CuQ (Q is halogen, etc.,) and a 2-organothio-2-cyclopentenone compound of formula III (R21 is the same as R2 excluding H; R31 is the same as R41) and subsequently further with a trifluoromethane sulfonic acid ester of formula IV.
