Abstract:
To provide a Nocardiopsis protease having improved thermostability and/or amended temperature activity profile.
There are provided a new 3D structure encoding a Nocardiopsis protease preferably having improved thermostability and/or amended temperature activity profile, and variants of parent protease homologous to Nocardiopsis proteases. There are also provided DNA sequences encoding such variants, their production in a recombinant host cell, as well as methods of using the variants, in particular in the field of animal feeds and detergents. There are further provided methods of generating and preparing protease variants having amended properties.
