Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively and efficiently construct quality of a seal of a waterproof layer rising part.
SOLUTION: This protecting structure has a protecting metal fitting for preventing a deterioration phenomenon by infiltration of rainwater or an ultraviolet ray, and the sunlight by shielding an end part and its vicinity by fixing the waterproof layer rising end part to a wall surface, the first seal formed between the outside of the metal fitting and the wall surface, and the second seal shielded by the metal fitting, and formed between the metal fitting and the wall surface. The protecting metal fitting provides the protecting structure of the waterproof layer rising part in the wall surface, having a baseplate sandwiched between the waterproof layer rising end part and the wall surface, a separating plate for partitioning the first seal and the second seal by abutting on the wall surface by projecting in the wall surface direction from this baseplate upper end, and a support plate for forming the first seal with the wall surface by projecting outward from the baseplate upper end.
