To provide a protection mat for concrete mouldings, which is used to cover up a concrete moulding so as to absorb or at least reduce an impact caused by another concrete moulding when falling off a frame structure, also capable of preventing any damage or dirt when moving or stacking the concrete moldings by coverring them up, thereby permitting easy operations in storing and transportation.

A woven fabric or a knitted network having comparatively large meshes, is formed into a bag-like mat having a predetermined size. A shock absorbing material, having meshes larger than those of the bag-like mat and having a predetermined hydrophobic property and a required flexibility, is oversewed onto the inner surface of the bag-like mat so as to have a thickness sufficient to absorb or at least reduce an impact caused by another concrete moulding when falling off a frame structure. Finally, two grips made of a rope material or a narrow woven fabric material are symmetrically formed by way of sewing on both ends of the bag-like mat.
