Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a dielectric resonator device composed of λ/2 resonators for improving Qo and easily reducing a cost without complicating the external shape of a dielectric block even in more than three stages of dielectric resonators.
CONSTITUTION: Internal conductor forming holes 2a and 2b are formed between the first surface S1 and second surface S2 of the dielectric block 1 and an external conductor 6 is formed on the approximately entire surface of the respective external surfaces of the dielectric block 1. Internal conductors provided with open end parts by clearances near the open parts of both ends of the internal conductor forming holes are formed inside the internal conductor forming holes 2a and 2b. Thus, no degradation of the Qo of the resonator due to current concentration in both open surfaces of the internal conductor forming holes is present and since the length of the internal conductor (the shaft length of the resonator) can be set even when the shaft length of the dielectric block 1 is fixed, this dielectric resonator device provided with more than three stages of the resonators can be constituted without providing a step part on the exterior of the dielectric block 1.
