Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent an increase of carbon dioxide by hermetically connecting airtight clothes and a helmet, vaporizing the liquefied respiratory gas of an equipped storage tank with a heat exchanger, feeding it into the helmet with a gas motor, and making ventilation with a blower inserted into the ventilation circulation path of the airtight clothes via a second circulation path of the heat exchanger. CONSTITUTION: Airtight clothes 10 and a helmet 12 having a transparent visor 14 are airtightly connected to form a protective equipment used in the noxious environment. The helmet 12 is provided with an exhalation valve 15 set with the pressure around the head higher than the atmospheric pressure by about several mb. A liquefied gas storage tank 24 for feeding the respiratory gas is disposed on the airtight clothes 10, the pressure of the liquefied gas us adjusted to the prescribed value, and it is fed to the coil pipe 26 of a heat exchanger 28. It is vaporized here and sent into the helmet 12 by a rotary gas motor 30 via a pipe 32. A blower 34 guides the gas in the airtight clothes 10 into the heat exchanger 28, and the gas is heat-exchanged with the liquefied gas and discharged from a discharge pipe 38.
