Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective frame type internal combustion engine working machine, which can facilitate an installing operation of a fuel tank and can be installed with efficient supporting strength.
SOLUTION: A fuel tank 4, when viewed from the upper part, presents a nearly rectangular shape and is formed with a flange 5 in the peripheral direction of the outer peripheral side face, and the upper part of the fuel tank is covered by a safeguard frame installed over the protective frame 20. A pair of right and left tank supporting members are installed between vertical frames of the protective frame in a front and rear horizontal direction. The right and left tank supporting members on an engine side are detachable, and the fuel tank is horizontally inserted from the engine arrangement side with a top opposed to a fuel cock 7, so that the flange is supported by the right and left tank supporting members. The right and left tank supporting members 37 on the engine side are adhered between the vertical frames, and the other flange of the fuel tank 4 is supported. The right and left flanges 5 of the fuel tank 4 are supported under an installing condition by the right and left tank supporting members 37, and the fuel tank 4 is fixed at a predetermined position while covering the entire top space of the protective frame.
