Title:
PROTECTIVE JIG FOR INCORPORATING MAGNETIC HEAD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS57154678
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To form a jig which can be handled easily, by installing both ends of a mylar sheet to be inserted between a disk and a magnetic head, to the upper part and the lower part of a clamp for pinching the magnetic head, forming them in one body, and covering the magnetic head.

CONSTITUTION: A protective jig 7 for incorporating a magnetic head is formed by forming a clamp and a mylar sheet in one body, and its tip is made round and thin so that its tip can be inserted easily into a disk 3. When the clamp part of the protective jig 7 is installed to a magnetic head 2 in case of incorporating the magnetic head, the tip of this protective jig 7 is inserted into the disk 3 at first, and the magnetic head 2 can be incorporated on the disk by only moving a carriage 4 toward the disk 3. In this way, it can be incorporated easily without damaging the disk 3 and the head 2.
