Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent protective material, knife protecting cloth and a protector such as leg guards or an arm cover simultaneously satisfying three characteristics, that is, protective properties, especially, motion properties and knife protecting properties and flexibility, that is, wearing properties.
SOLUTION: In a protective material comprising a laminate of a plurality of synthetic fiber fabrics, at least one sheet like article selected from a cloth-like article wherein metal ropes comprising metal strands are arranged in warp and weft directions, a net-like article comprising metal ropes and a braided article containing metal ropes and yarns obliquely crossing each other is inserted into the intermediate portion of the laminate. A knife protecting cloth and a protector are constituted of the protective material.
