Abstract:
To provide an image forming element having resistance against fingerprints, dirt and wetting.
The photographic element with an image formed consists of (a) a supporting body, (b) at least one image forming layer laminated on one surface of the supporting body and containing the reaction product of silver and/or a color developing agent with a dye forming coupler, and (c) a protective overcoat applied on the image forming layer. The protective overcoat contains a polyurethane polymer containing polycarbonate having 0 to 70°C Tg, 15,000 to 200,000 molecular weight at least 20 wt.% proportion of polycarbonate to the whole polymer amount.
