Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective relay capable of maintaining operation display without applying any special electromagnetic noise countermeasures to the protective relay which does not require power for maintaining operation display and comprises a conventional magnetic inversion display.SOLUTION: A protective relay comprises an operation display part 2 which displays an operation display. The operation display part 2 includes a main body portion and a movable portion 4 which is provided in such a manner that a position relative to the main body portion can be changed between a first position and a second position at a lower side of the first position. Any one of the main body portion and the movable portion 4 has a magnet 5 which generates a magnetic field, and the other has an iron core 6. The operation display part 2 includes a coil 7 which generates a magnetic field in a direction opposite to a direction of the magnetic field generated by the magnet 5. An operation display drive part which controls the coil 7 generates the magnetic field in the opposite direction by controlling the coil 7 at least temporarily when abnormality in a power system is detected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
