PURPOSE: To enables wearing of even ordinary people simply when a fire breaks out to perform an operation of opening a valve while ensuring a fire resisting function and a gas supply function for breathing sufficient for taking a shelter through an emergency exit.

CONSTITUTION: A protective suit body 1 is made up of a hood part 5 having a fireproof resin 3 and a mantle part 7. A compressed air tank 9 is housed into a pocket 19 and is connected to a gas supply mouth part 21 for breathing with a conduit 23. A valve part 13 of a compressed air tank 9 is made up of a regulator 15 and a single-action type valve lever 17. A shielding skirt 25 is mounted inside a neck part of the protective suit body 1.
