To provide a protector for preventing abnormal noise from being generated by a route material sliding in the protector in contact with burrs generated on an inner peripheral surface of the protector, a method of manufacturing the same, and a wire harness.SOLUTION: A protector includes a housing space unit that houses a route material W and in which the route material W slides in a sliding direction, and a housing member having an inner peripheral surface 13a for forming the housing space unit. The housing member is partitioned into a first region 15 and a second region 16 with a boundary portion 19 interposed in an extending direction of the housing member. A recessed portion 17 is formed in the inner peripheral surface 13a across the first region 15 and the second region 16. The boundary portion 19 is formed in a bottom 17a of the recessed portion 17. A depth D of the recessed portion 17 is formed to be longer than an amount of protrusion T of the boundary portion 19.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
