Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3894006
Kind Code:

Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protector that allows clips to be latched, irrespective of dimensional tolerances of the clips and attached to even a bent part with ease.
SOLUTION: The protector 10 is fixed to a vehicle body side member by the clips 12 in a state with a wiring hardness inserted to a protector body 11 having a recessed cross section formed with an opening in its upper surface. At least one of the clips 12 is formed of a different body, and a shaft 12d having a pair of latching blades 12c at its tip is arranged so as to protrude upward from a base board 12e. Guide frames 17 having recessed cross sections are arranged at the protector body 11 from its both sidewalls so as to oppose each other, and both ends of the board 12e of the clip 12 are slidably inserted to the guide frame 17 to close the opening of the protector body 11, thus allowing positioning to an latching hole of the vehicle body side member. The protector 10 is provided with a plurality of thin hinges 16 so as to be bendable in multi- stage manner.
