A protector 30 protects a wire harness which is bent and routed. It has a wire harness housing part 31 provided with a plurality of housing parts 32 and 33 composed of plate-like bottom walls 34 and 35 and side walls erected on both sides as well as a bent part 36 which connects the bottom wall of the housing part for free bending, a plurality of lids 47 and 48 for closing the housing parts, and a curved lid 49 to make a plurality of lids in series by bending along the wire harness. It is also provided with a lid body 37 connected by a coupling hinge 44 to one side wall of the housing part to which any one of the lids corresponds, first engagement means 46 and 50 for engaging the lid connected with the coupling hinge to the other side wall of the housing part, and second engagement means 40 and 50 for engaging a remaining lid to a corresponding housing part. The lid 48 is connected to a curved lid 49 with a lid hinge 51.
