Abstract:
To provide a proton conductive membrane which exhibits high proton conductivity even under an anhydrous environment.SOLUTION: The proton conductive membrane is provided which contains a crosslinked polymer and a plasticizer. The crosslinked polymer has a proton-accepting group in an amount of 10 mol% or more based on a repeating unit constituting the crosslinked polymer. The plasticizer contains a proton-donating compound having a pKa of 2.5 or less. The proton conductive membrane is a viscoelastic solid in a temperature range of 50°C or higher and 120°C or lower.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
