Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection device capable of detecting protrusion that may occur while stacked substrates as many as or more than a certain number are transported, in an in-line manner regardless of thickness of a workpiece without applying printing to end portions.SOLUTION: A protrusion inspection device 1 is configured to detect the protrusion of a sheet-like substrate that may occur when transporting stacked sheet-like substrates 2 as many as or more than a certain number. The protrusion inspection device 1 includes: measurement means 6 for measuring an end face position of the sheet-like substrate 2 to be transported; recording means 7 for recording data about the end face position of the sheet-like substrate measured by the measuring instrument; calculation means 8 for calculating a reference line 16 from the recorded end face position data; determination means 9 for determining the protrusion by comparing each recorded end face data value with a value of the calculated reference line; and means 5 for reporting protrusion information.
