Abstract:
To provide a proximity sensor capable of achieving miniaturization with simplification of a configuration.SOLUTION: A proximity sensor 1 includes: a case 2 which has a hollow part S of which one surface is opened and is provided on an outer surface side of a vehicle door; a detection electrode 4 which is integrated with a bottom surface part 2A of the hollow part S of the case 2 by insert molding and detects contact of a user due to a change in an electrostatic capacitance; connection parts 4a and 4b projecting into the hollow part S of the case 2 from the detection electrode 4; a circuit board 6 which is electrically connected to the connection parts 4a and 4b, and is arranged at a position overlapping the detection electrode 4 in the hollow part S of the case 2; and a cable 5 which electrically connects the detection electrode 4 and an external device, in which a connection terminal 7 that electrically connects the circuit board 6 and the cable 5 is provided integrally with a side face part 2C erected from the bottom surface part 2A of the case 2 by resin molding.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
