Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain pruning scissors with a good cutting efficiency by sliding blade parts and carrying out slide cutting of branches, etc.
CONSTITUTION: For example, when handles 3 and 4 are tightly held in the directions 3' and 4', a fulcrum 5 is set at a position 5' to left so as to slide a cutter blade 1 and a receiving blade 2 to positions 1' and 2' and carry out side cutting. The fitting of the cutting blade causing backlash by abrasion of the fulcrum is corrected by providing a setscrew 7 on the left side of the fulcrum 5'. The handles 3 and 4 and the cutting blade 1 and receiving blade 2 are detachable by bolts 8. Thereby, even abraded blade parts can be exchanged.
