Abstract:

To unconsciously notify a pedestrian, etc. around a vehicle of approaching and passing of the vehicle and to call his attention.

A pseudo sound information storing part 101 stores information on pseudo sound. A vehicle outside generating part 102 generates pseudo sound to the outside of the vehicle based on the information stored in the pseudo sound information storing part 101. A detecting part 103 detects a prescribed state when the vehicle travels. A control part 104 controls an output of a pseudo sound generation instruction signal to the vehicle outside generating part 102 based on the result detected by the detecting part 103. As a result, pseudo sound (pseudo traveling sound) of the vehicle is generated based on the prescribed state when the vehicle travels.
