Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make detailed advertising information acquirable from the public telephone.
SOLUTION: The public telephone 1 is connected to the Internet 5 via a telephone line while not used, and a display 3 connected to the telephone 1 displays on an indicator 33 a first advertising information down-loaded from an advertising information provider center 6 over the Internet 5, while the telephone 1 displays on an indicator 15 a second advertising information more detailed than the first advertising information from the provider center 6. When a user performs a specified operation of an operating part 16 of the telephone 1, it acquires a third advertising information more detailed that the second advertising information from the provider center 6, and displays the information on the indicator 15 with a subtraction of a count number corresponding to the reading rate of the third advertising information from the remaining count number of an IC telephone card.
