PURPOSE: To deliver a band shaped material evenly at a desired tension by a fixed quantity by a method wherein the rotation of a resistant roller, which gives a pull-out tension to the band shaped material, is controlled in such a manner that a detected value and a set value regarding the tension of the band shaped material become equal.
CONSTITUTION: A band shaped material 1 is delivered by a delivery roller 20 which is driven by a third motor 21. At this time, the tension of the band shaped material 1 between a resistant roller 18 and the delivery roller 20 is detected by a detecting member 22, and the detected value is input in a second controller 23. At the second controller 23, the resistance value of the resistant roller 18 is changed by controlling a second motor 19 in such a manner that a set value for the tension by a setting panel 24 becomes equal to above mentioned detected value. In the meantime, a moving roller 12 is raised between a pair of fixed position rollers 10, 11, and when the arrival of the moving motor at an point A is detected by a sensor 15a, a first motor is controlled by a first controller 16, and a pull-out rotor 4 is rotated, and the band shaped material 1 is pulled out from a material roll 2.
