To provide a pulley assembly which allows a pulley to be easily mounted to an inner panel and prevents falling-off of an inner cable.

The pulley assembly 10 is adapted to fit a lower part 25b of a cylindrical part of a shaft 12 into a substantially elliptical hole 23 formed in a base 11, to support the pulley 13 rotatably by an upper part 25a of the cylindrical part, to insert locking claws 35a of rear connecting pieces 35 of a cover 14 into locking holes 20 formed on the lateral sides of a rear part of a base 11, to hold the cover 14 in an openable/closable manner by the rear connecting pieces 35 and to hold down a flange 24 of a shaft 12 with the cover 14 when closing the cover 14 by engaging a lower elastic tongue piece 39 of a tip connecting piece 36 of the cover 14 resiliently with a locking hole 17 of the base 11.
