Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To replace underwater pulleys in a water tank while operation of a coal burning boiler is continued without draining water from the water tank.
SOLUTION: An ash processing device is provided with this pulley unit detachment/attachment device in the water tank provided with a temporary tank 4 capable of water-tightly enclosing outer surfaces of water tank side walls 15, at least two fixing rods 6 having a presser part 63 to be engaged with female screws 17 on the water tank side wall 15 to press a bearing boss 34 of the pulley unit 3 as inserted to guide cylinders 46A on the temporary tank 4, and at least two guide rods 7 to be engaged with the female screws 17 on the water tank side wall 15 as inserted to guide cylinders 46B on the temporary tank 4. The temporary tank 4 is installed at such a position to enclose the bearing boss 34 on the outer surface of the water tank side wall 15, and by using the fixing rods 6 and the guide rods 7, the pulley unit 3 can be replaced without draining water from the water tank 1.
