To provide a dental pulp-capping material which is excellent in adhesion property to a dental pulp exposure part (i.e. a part where dental pulp (nerve) is exposed due to progress of dental caries, or the like) and enhancing effect on the formation of reparative dentin from the pulp side.
This dental pulp capping material is composed of a primer (a composition containing (a) a polymerizable monomer having a phosphorus atom-containing acidic group, (b) a polymerizable unsaturated compound having a hydroxy group, (c) water and (d) a photopolymerization catalyst) and a bond (a composition containing (e) a polymerizable monomer having a phosphorus atom-containing acidic group, (f) a polymerizable monomer, (g) a photopolymerization catalyst and (h) a hydroxyapatite powder and/or a brushite powder).
