PURPOSE: To effectively damp hydraulic pressure pulsation onto a master cylinder side by employing a movable member at an outlet of a throttle provided between an inlet and an outlet which movable member is urged with an elastic member in the direction opposing the hydraulic pressure.
CONSTITUTION: A pulsation damper 10 has a main body 12 directly connected by screw to the outlet of a clutch master cylinder 11. A movable member 23 urged by an elastic member 24 in the direction opposing a hydraulic pressure is installed on the outlet 16 side of a throttle 32a. When the pressure change of the hydraulic pressure pulsation on the outlet 16 side of the throttle 32a increases, the movable member 23 receives the pressure of the hydraulic pressure pulsation and moves while resisting the urging force of the elastic member 24. When the pressure of the hydraulic pressure pulsation decreases, the movable member 23 returns to the original position. As a result, the pressure variance on the outlet 16 side decreases. Thus, the hydraulic pressure pulsation on the master cylinder side is effectively damped.
