Abstract:

PURPOSE: To maintain an arc length constant and to ensure transfer of one droplet per one pulse by varying an average value of a welding current based on the difference between a detected value and a set value of a pulse current.
CONSTITUTION: A current value detected by a current detector 10 of an output control circuit is inputted to a pulse current peak value detector 12. A voltage value detected by a voltage detector 11 is inputted to a pulse voltage detector 15. The pulse current peak value detector 12 obtains a peak value in a pulse period of time and outputs this to a pulse frequency control circuit 14. The pulse frequency control circuit 14 outputs a pulse frequency command value to a pulse waveform selecting circuit 20 based on the difference between this detected value and the set value. A pulse current control circuit 17 obtains a pulse current command value formed by amplifying a difference signal between a detected value and a set value of the pulse voltage and outputs this to the pulse waveform selecting circuit 20. This selecting circuit 20 selects the command value of the pulse current or a set value of a base current and outputs this to an inverter driving circuit 21 to drive and control an inverter 4 based on this.
