Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a pulse count type infrared detecting device having little malfunction in such environmental conditions that wind infiltrates into the indoor side through a window.
CONSTITUTION: A condensing lens 2 collects light, and a light receiving element 3 receives light. When the infrared output converted into the electric signal exceeds the prescribed pulse count number Np in a pulse count time Tp set in advance, an infrared detecting device 1 outputs the human body detection signal. The infrared detecting device 1 is provided with pulse count changing/ setting means A, A' automatically changing and setting the pulse count time Tp and the pulse count number Np in response to the infrared output in the measuring time T set in advance.
