Title:
PULSE GENERATION CIRCUIT FOR STEPPING MOTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3172479
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To expand a commercial frequency range to not only a self-activation frequency range but also a through region with low costs, by providing a slow-up means for controlling the pulse generation of an astable oscillation circuit according to the charge time of a capacitor being connected to the astable oscillation circuit.
SOLUTION: An astable oscillation circuit 1a is constituted by using a generalpurpose timer IC1 and a capacitor 4 for slow-up is connected between an oscillation frequency control terminal 2 and a power supply 3. The slow-up time of a pulse being outputted to an output terminal 7 is decided according to a time constant being determined by the capacity value of the capacitor 4 and resistance inside the control terminal 2. The oscillation frequency becomes a fixed value when the charge of the capacitor 4 is saturated. Also, the capacitor 4 and resistors are adjusted and charge time is set to proper time corresponding to a stepping motor, thus driving the stepping motor in a through region without stepping out.
